FMAC Area Boundaries

With a total of 5 areas, FMAC’s service region encompasses a large portion of the M.D. of Greenview. From west to the British Columbia border, east towards Hwy 43, north to Grovedale, and south to Grande Cache.

What should you do if there is
an Oil & Gas Emergency?

Take immediate precautions for your own safety.

Shelter in place (find a safe location indoors) or evacuate the area, if safe to do so. Let others know to the do same. If able to evacuate, move upwind or crosswind and uphill, and do not use any device in the area that may produce a spark.

Tell the Operator

• The nature of the emergency.
• The location of the emergency (see map to the left for area information)
• Your name and any contact information.
• Any other emergency numbers you may have already called (911, Alberta Environment, ERCB, ect.)

Stay off your phone so emergency responders can contact you.
